MIDDLESBROUGH this afternoon completed the signing of striker Leroy Lita on a three-year deal.
The 24-year-old signs on a free transfer having been released by Reading in the summer.
Born in the Congo, Lita was a trainee with Bristol City going on to make 100 appearances for the Ashton Gate side scoring 38 goals.
He cost Reading £1m when signing in July 2005. He made 100 appearances for the Royals scoring 32 goals. Three goals came in eight games while on loan with Charlton for six weeks from March to April 2008, while a three-month loan deal with Norwich from October 2008 to January 2009 brought seven goals from 16 appearances.
MIDO this afternoon signed a year-long loan deal with Egyptian side Zamalek.
They were his first club before he signed for Ajax in Holland, one of seven clubs with whom he played throughout Europe.
Mido last appeared in a Middlesbrough shirt in the middle of January spending the remainder of the season on loan with Wigan.
