New Hull City signing George Boateng is ready to give his all to ensure the club remain in the Premier League.
Boateng completed his switch from Middlesbrough on Wednesday for a fee of £1million, penning a two-year deal at the KC stadium.
The 32-year-old Dutchman has a wealth of Premier League experience having played for Coventry, Aston Villa and Boro in the past 11 years.
And he has stated his ambition to preserve Hull's top-flight status when the new season gets under way.
"It is a big challenge, and a challenge that I am very, very looking forward to," Boateng told Sky Sports News. "This was an opportunity I needed to kick-start my career.
"Getting to the top is hard but staying there is even harder. I am here to win football matches for this club so we can stay in this division."
On his time at Boro, Boateng added:
"It was great at Middlesbrough. I have no reason to be disappointed to leave Boro.
"I had six great years there and achieved so much. I have no regrets."
Good Luck Boateng, We wish you all the best for reminding career!
